BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Three NCC 4MP Battalion cadets from Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) selected for the Republic Parade at New Delhi.
These candidates Shraddha Moon, Yaduvendra Solanki and Harshit Goswami have been selected based on their performance and test conducted on State-level at a private engineering college.
While confirming the selection of cadets, NCC officer of BSSS, Lieutenant Nasir Ali said that cadets and officers would have to be quarantined in Delhi for the first 11 days. The cadets, selected from all over the country, will then undergo another selection process for Rajpath, Guard of Honour, Prime Minister’s Rally and Youth Exchange Programme.
It is a matter of pride for the NCC, the world’s largest uniformed disciplined organisation, to be included in the Republic Day Parade. Cadets of Army, Air Force and Navy, from all the Group Head Quarters of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh went through a month long selection process held at Bansal Engineering College. The cadets qualified in these strict standards of selection through hard work and discipline. A total of 34 cadets were selected for the Republic Day Parade to be held at Delhi.
Congratulating these cadets, Principal Dr Fr John PJ said that the hard work and guidance given to them in the challenging phase of COVID-19 has brought them laurels and the opportunity given to them to participate in this glorious parade has made the college proud.
